The Hen House is operated from its base which is situated in the Suffolk countryside. It is run by Stephen Flory who personally manages its operation. Stephen in normally only a phone-call away, and is keen to support his customers, whether it is to give reassurance to new owners or to help other more expert, customers.
Stephen has been interested in wild fowl and poultry since he was a child. As a teenager, he bred birds and exhibited widely in the UK often winning prizes.
Stephen has been supplying poultry and housing for many years. Among the many birds he rears are foreign breeds of poultry which are unique in the UK and can only be seen at his Thorndon site.
A member of the Rare Poultry Society Stephen has appeared on TV, has been featured in country magazines and his advice has been sought frequently.
